For the second consecutive year CBS brings viewers the off-road

Championship.
Airing on Saturday December 29th at 1:30 EST, the program is an
hour-long special featuring 400 of the world's best multi sport
athletes battling against each other and Mother Nature.
Taped on location in Wailea, Maui on October 14th, watch

competition that has been described as part triathlon, part
mountain bike race, and part survival of the fittest.
The programs follows competitors as they attempt to tackle this
unforgiving course - a 1.5-kilometer rough water swim at Wailea
Beach, a grueling 30-kilometer mountain bike on the slopes of
Haleakala, and an 11-kilometer trail run from Makena to Wailea.
The broadcast will introduce you to some exceptional XTERRA
athletes and racing drama on the hardest XTERRA course in the
world. From the crystal clear waters of the Pacific, to the
sharp lava rocks and kiawe thorns on the bike and run - Hawaii's
natural obstacles are unlike anywhere else on earth.
