|  HBU Alumni present Husky Hustle 5K Fun Run March 6, 2002
The race will be held on April 13 with KPRC-TV news anchor Don
Armstrong firing the starting gun at 8:00 a.m. The race will
start and finish on the HBU campus with prizes awarded to the
first place overall male and female, overall masters male and
female, and various age categories. The post-race party will
feature photos with Kiza, the Husky mascot, and prize drawings. Underwriters and sponsors for the 2002 Husky Hustle include
Insight Advantage, 106.9 The Point, Southern National Bank, West
Houston Pediatric Associates, Vivian Camacho, Fresh Pak, Golden
Age Vending, Pepsi-Cola, HBU University Store, Sodexho Campus
Services, and Rural/Metro Ambulance. Cost for the run is $15 if postmarked by Saturday, April 6; $17
after March 24 and $20 on race day. Proceeds from the Husky
Hustle will benefit the HBU Alumni Association Scholarship Fun.
