Saturday April, 5th will be the first Aledo Ride for Heroes in Aledo, Texas. This ride is to celebrate local heroes, benefiting the fire departments of Aledo, Hudson Oaks, and Willow Park and the building of an East Parker County Animal Shelter. Ride routes will include 10 miles, 30 miles, 43 miles, and 72 miles.

In conjunction with the ride, there will be an auction of a replica of the flag flown at the Tour de France. This special flag bears the signature of every USPS team member, including Texas' own Lance Armstrong! The flag will be displayed at the ride and go up for auction on Ebay the day after the ride, April 6th. Proceeds from the auction will go to the Texas Bicycle Coalition and Aledo's Ride for Heroes. If you can't participate in the ride, make a bid on the flag!
