The USA Triathlon Board of Directors elected its four executive officers during its three-day meeting Sept. 13-15 at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs.

Brad Davison of Austin, Texas, a Central Region representative, was elected president. Elite athlete representative Susie Gallucci of Colorado Springs was elected vice president. Jack Weiss, the Central Region representative from Euless, Texas, was elected treasurer and Dan Empfield, the Western Region representative from Valyermo, Calif., was elected secretary.

It was the first official, in-person meeting of the USA Triathlon Board of Directors since November 2003 and the first since the new Board elections were held in the summer of 2004. Attendees said the meeting was cordial and productive.
