Carrie Brady of Atlanta, Ga., and Joshua Ritchie of Tallmadge, Ohio, were the overall age group winners of the DANNON USA Triathlon Duathlon National Championships on Sunday in Alpharetta, Ga.

Ritchie, 29, completed the 10k run, 40k bike and 5k run in 1 hour, 52 minutes, 26 seconds. Brady, 27, won the women's race on the same course in 2:09:03.

Erin Kees, 27, of Madison, Wis., was second overall in the men's race (1:55:08) and Jeffrey Boyd, 25, of Greenville, S.C., was third (1:55:14). Brennan Liming, 28, of Apex, N.C., was second overall in the women's race (2:09:43) and Lauren Miller, 25, of Palo Alto, Calif., was third (2:11:13).

The elite races were dominated by international athletes. Canadian Simon Whitfield, the gold medalist at the 2000 Olympics in triathlon, won the men's elite race in 1:57:05. Francois Lhuissier of France was second (1:57:30) and Anthony Le Duey of France was third (1:58:08).

Eric Schwartz (Boulder, Colo.) was the top U.S. finisher in fifth and took the U.S. championship title.

In the women's race, Anne Jorgensen of Denmark won in 2:15:51. Amory Rowe (Encinitas, Calif.) was the U.S. champion in second overall (2:16:22). Laura Giordano of Italy was third in 2:16:32.
