Subaru, known as the official vehicle of the outdoors, has become the title sponsor of the 23rd annual Subaru Memphis In May Triathlon.

"Subaru is all we could hope for in a title sponsor," stated Andrew Holliday, Marketing Director for Start 2 Finish Event Management. "Subaru has a heavy emphasis on the active lifestyle community, which played a vital role in this partnership coming together. There is an obvious similarity between the Subaru target market and the demographic profile of our event participants. Everyone at Start 2 Finish is looking forward to working with Subaru to make this partnership a fantastic success."

The Subaru Memphis In May Triathlon will once again be one of the premier triathlons in the country. It will bring thousands of pro and amateur athletes from around the nation and the world to Memphis to compete in the 1.5K swim, 40K bike and 10K run event. This year, participants and spectators will notice a strong Subaru presence at the event and can look forward to numerous opportunities to see and test-drive the newest Subaru vehicles.

Registration for the 2005 Subaru Memphis In May Triathlon opened recently at www.s2fevents.com. To accommodate rising demand in the unique time trial format race, an additional 200 spots have been added - lifting the cap to 1,700 athletes. Also new this year is an amateur challenge. It will offer a $2000 purse for both the top five amateur men and top five amateur women with the fastest combined times for the Mountain Bike Triathlon (May 21st) and the Subaru Memphis In May Triathlon (May 22nd).

Keep an eye on www.s2fevents.com for more exciting updates on the 2005 event.
