The USA Triathlon Board of Directors has extended Interim Executive Director Mike Greer's contract to Feb. 28, 2005.

Greer, a veteran triathlete and race director and former USAT Board of Directors president, was appointed interim executive director in August while USAT searches for a permanent director.

Greer is a member of the committee leading that search along with USAT Board members Susie Gallucci and Dan Empfield.

If a new executive director is hired before Feb. 28, Greer will help in the transfer to new management.
