Think you're tough?

Never met a course you couldn't conquer?

Going long this season?

Meet The Desoto American Triple-T (DATT). If you've met DATT before, you'd certainly remember DATT. Past and repeat attendees boast an accomplishment that few can rival. Voted one of the top 100 triathlon events in the country, DATT offers the solo triathlete or two-person team the opportunity to strengthen their physical and mental toughness along with creating strong friendships that can last a lifetime.

The intimate field is limited to 40 solo spots and 50 team spots. At this point, the event is 75% full. The event has sold out each year it's been offered, so take advantage of the opens spots today.

DATT features four races over a three day period. Participants are treated to four separate triathlons that cover a total of 3.2 miles of swimming, 110.1 miles of biking, and 27.2 miles of running in a beautifully wooded and scenic park that sits at the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains in southern Ohio.

To ensure that the participants can focus fully on the daunting task ahead of them, race producers cater to their every need by providing full accommodations (Olympic village style), meals, numerous on-course energetic volunteer groups, and nightly results updates.

The Desoto American Triple-T event strengthens a triathlete on the following fronts:

1) Physical toughness - Consisting of four races in three days that take place on terrain that requires your best climbing skills. Your physical fortitude will be put to the test while covering 3.2 miles swimming, 110.1 miles biking, and 27.2 miles running. If going long is on your 2005 race agenda, use this event as a measuring stick.

2) Mental toughness - If you can mentally prepare yourself to compete and finish the four separate races AND not show up late for the last race then competing in a 1-day long distance event will be a piece of cake! Humble pie is served on the run course of the last day's half ironman distance race.

3) Friendships among fellow athletes - Create new or strengthen existing friendship bonds between teammates or solo competitors that can last a lifetime. Intense camaraderie in the athlete's village is cultivated throughout the entire weekend.

To ensure that the participant suffering does not go unrecognized, the following awards schedule is followed:

The top five overall teams will receive the following prizes:
1st Place Team: $5000.00 Gift Certificate to Wheelie Fun Multisport.
2nd Place Team: $2000.00 Gift Certificate to Wheelie Fun Multisport.
