WHY: Inclement weather

The STARRS regrets, that due to inclement weather, the 2004 Corpus Christi Triathlon on April 25, 2004 was called off. We apologize for any and all inconvenience to the athletes, but the local police would not allow the event to happen because of lightning and flooding. For reasons of safety, the race officials had no choice but to call off the event. The STARRS policy is that registration fees are non-refundable, no transfers or credits. However, the STARRS rescheduled the event for May 8, 2004, 7AM, at Cole Park, Corpus Christi, Texas. We understand this is not ideal and it is unfortunate, but we have done the best we could to reschedule the event.
