As of Tuesday, the USA Triathlon Age Group National Championship, presented by TriGenix Sports Nutritional Systems, will be held as scheduled on Sept. 18 in Shreveport, La.

The forecast for Saturday's race is partly cloudy with warm temperatures. Shreveport is located in the northwest part of Louisiana, the opposite end of the state from the potential hurricane-affected area which is along the Gulf Coast.
