The 2001 Koala Centers and Luke's Locker 20K Race on Sunday, October 21st is excited to announce that they have added a two person relay to their top-rated 20K!! Each team member will: run a 10K distance, be chip timed at the start, hand-off and finish and receive a race singlet!

All 20K participants will continue to be chip timed at the start and finish as well as receive their race singlet. Each relay team as well as 20K race participant will also get a 10K split time! Plus, every participant is invited to the Post Race Party!

This is a first of it's kind for Houston racing - a 20K team relay event on the roads! This will be a great training event for those planning on doing either the full or half marathon in Houston in January or to just come out and have a fun time running! (What a novel idea!)

Each year the race donates a large portion of it's proceeds to charity and this year is no exception. Our charity this year is the Assist The Officer program which was established by HPD to aid those peace officers injured or disabled in the line of duty.
